Who we are

What we collect

Quote requests

When you send the department quote form we receive what you enter: your department and role, your name, work email and phone, the locality you serve, the training you need, participant count, scheduling preferences, facility availability, procurement needs, any fit-check summary you chose to attach, and your notes.

Please do not send student rosters, license numbers, Social Security numbers, firearm serial numbers, medical information, or payment details. The form does not ask for them and has no file upload.

Department-fit check

Your answers are evaluated in your own browser. They are not sent to us. If you choose “Request a quote with this summary”, a short text summary is held in your browser’s session storage and placed in the quote form, where you can edit or delete it before sending. It is never placed in a web address.

Technical data

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. The form endpoint briefly records request counts per IP address to limit abuse; it does not log the contents of your message.

Analytics

If analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and a small set of anonymous events (for example, that a quote form was started or sent, or that a phone link was clicked). We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, form contents, or fit-check answers to analytics, and advertising personalization features are turned off.

Spam protection

If enabled, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated software. Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

How we use it

• To respond to your request, review fit, plan logistics, and prepare a quote.
• To complete vendor setup and deliver training you reserve.
• To keep the website secure and working.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Who sees it

Quote requests are delivered by email to GSFT – School Safety Certification staff. Service providers that host this website and deliver our email process the information on our behalf. We may disclose information when the law requires it.

Retention and your choices

We keep quote correspondence for as long as needed to respond, deliver training, and meet ordinary business record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to correct or delete your contact details by emailing info@schoolsafetycertification.com.

Children

This website is intended for public-safety organizations and their adult personnel. It is not directed to children.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
